Option B · Turkmenbashi → Alat (via Turkmenistan)

The longest single road segment on this route. Almaty westward across the Kazakhstan steppe to the Caspian coast. Main route follows the A2/E40 via Shymkent and Kyzylorda. Road quality is variable — good on major sections, rougher on secondary routes. Fuel and overnight stops available in Shymkent, Kyzylorda, and Beyneu.
